This place is a true gem. We've dined in (pre-lockdown) and taken away and it's never failed to hit the spot. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. My personal favourites are the falafels (probably the best I've ever had) and the chicken shoarma.
My favorite spot in Düsseldorf Fresh food Lovely staff Keep that pace!
The food was very tasty! I don't know anything about Jewish food, but the flair was good here and I tried my hand at the menu. The 3 different starters, 2 main courses plus a bottle of water cost 61 euros! I highly recommend it. Service was quick and friendly.
Nice atmosphere combines with good food.
It's been two months since we were there, but here are my reviews. There were three of us and we hadn't made a reservation, but that wasn't a problem. We were assigned a table with a QR code on it for registration and to receive the menu digitally. Everything worked very well. The food was awesome, I could have eaten until I burst. Good dishes tasty desserts. Everything perfect. The staff was fantastic, attentive and accommodating. I can only recommend the restaurant.
The food was just delicious, beautifully presented, the hygiene concept was implemented in a great way. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
I always like to be in the curve. The food is delicious and the staff friendly. Unfortunately for the second time in a row we had an encounter with a somewhat more unfriendly older lady who works there. The bad mood should be left at home, please. In addition, the table was reserved by us in advance and had not yet been made available when we arrived, although the restaurant was not particularly full. Icv hope that everything will work out next time
We recommend! We went for dinner and were very satisfied. We shared the starter platter "Jerusalem", although stated for 2 people, this is easily enough for 4. The main courses were all very tasty and also filling. Only that there are time slots was not publicly announced (read this in the reviews). Information on this in advance is desirable. Otherwise absolutely great!
The food is absolutely great! The wines served with it are also very tasty. A small deduction only for the sometimes rude service of individual waiters.
The best falafel I've eaten in a long time :) Nice and crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside. The rest was delicious too! Clear recommendation for the mixed starter plate and the mixed dessert plate. And the service is very courteous. We had a nice evening and will definitely be back.
One of the best places in Dusseldorf. Always a pleasure to go.
This was our first time on the curve and ate there at lunchtime. The taste of the food was okay. The pita bread served was delicious. Unfortunately, from my point of view, the price-performance ratio is not good if even 2 ladies say that they cannot get enough of the food. Selling soft drinks for a 0.25 glass for € 2.90 is also one of the significantly higher prices I've seen in a long time. The staff wasn't really friendly either. All in all, due to the overall experience, it won't be enough for one more visit.
Good food, wine was ok, service quick, polite and very accommodating. Space was tight, had to sit on the corner of the table. Starter: cauliflower was plentiful, tasted good Main course: rack of lamb, meat was a little too dry
Delicious food and a good location alone are not enough. It seemed to us that the staff there - like so many other established restaurants in Düsseldorf - was resting on it. We were brought to the table hectically and carelessly with the information that card payment was not possible on this day for technical reasons. When ordering the Israeli beers, we were told that one of the two types of beer cannot be offered. When ordering food, we were asked to order the starter and main course immediately, "so that it goes faster". We waited 50 minutes (!) For the main course. The staff ran by regularly and looked at our table: neither the starter was cleared in time, nor could we reorder drinks. Our complaint in the aftermath was kindly received by the restaurant management and they also apologized, but at the same time also gave countless reasons which, in our opinion, only partially justified this. Unfortunately, there will be no reunion, there are enough good alternatives in Düsseldorf. Gladly again when the service attitude has improved: good luck for it!
Unfriendly boss. The food is good.
Delicious! Really a different taste experience! If you are looking for Hummus & Co and authentic Israeli cuisine, this is the right address The mint spritzer also made the visit at lunchtime perfect??? Price-performance ratio was very, very good!
Great service, the food was nice as well
I went there spontaneously and luckily I got a place. For dinner I had the fennel salad and the 'whole sweet potato'. In addition, wine as recommended, which was awesome. In addition to the great food, the ambience and above all the nice waiters who created a nice atmosphere were really fantastic. Definitely worth a recommendation.
The star is there for the taste of the food. The portion for two people was otherwise rather manageable. Staff very unfriendly. Promises are not kept, for example 8 falafel were promised instead of meat, 7 came instead. First eat then you can reorder. The employees were never seen again, no inquiries possible. Nothing. In the end we wanted to pay, with the hint that we would like to pay by card. Here too, of course, the commitment. When paying then only from 50 euros. NO THANKS. There was no receipt. All in all a very disappointing impression. The food would be worth it if the staff and the atmosphere were right. I therefore cannot recommend it.
Ran is one of the best waiters you can experience. Great evening, great food. Best oven vegetables I've ever eaten. Nice shop ??
The food was very tasty. The four of us tried our way through 12 starter plates. The friendliness and the tone of the older female waitress left a lot to be desired.
A large variety of small, tasty starters. The main course was also very good and nicely presented. We were there spontaneously with 4 people and were lucky to get the last free table, so it's best to reserve in advance.
Service can be sometimes a little obnoxious but the food quality is just so amazing - it tops all the rest and the expectations. Always a safe bet for a great gastronomic experience!
Delicious meal. Very fresh, with love and probably everything homemade. Unfortunately I have to deduct a point because the prices are very expensive. In itself, however, a nice place with very nice bosses. Keep it up.
wonderful place!
Very nice (service, food, location, etc.)
Shalom Foodies! Here you are spot on;) Finally been there with my wife and done everything right;) Table reserved! Arrived on time! Hungry anyway! It is worth taking a look at the menu on the Internet beforehand (although it is no longer up to date), you get a good overview so that you are not overwhelmed. It will be difficult to find a nicer wait staff and everything went very quickly. Tip: 3 starters + bread per person and it's great to share! Everything with aubergine was absolutely brilliant and the hummus shouldn't be missing either. Unfortunately, the fried olives were no longer available. One reason why we came in the first place;) All in all everything was great! Comfortable feeling thanks to food and people! Definitely try the Labaneh cheesecake. Incredible ;) Thank you;)
I wouldn't mind eating here any time of the day and any day of the week. Authentic and well presented food.
Good food and wine combined with friendly service in a nice setting.
Very friendly stuff...Nice food and food koaher wine...food sadly not kosher but they can do kosher fish and are very helpfull
Very tasty if somewhat expensive food with excellent, friendly service. You should definitely try the starter plate for 2 and the lamb karre. Costs about 25-40 euros per person depending on what you order, but the taste and quality of ingredients definitely makes it worth it. The homemade bread is also amazing.
Friendly multilingual staff ..great food
Very nice . Food and envairments
Food & Service was awesome - please call there before you go.
Good food at reasonable prices, but make sure to put a big bottle of water next to your bed afterwards, only to find it empty in the morning, because there's more salt in their food than in the Dead Sea. Home made hummus is excellent ??
Awesome Hebrew cusine!!!
The food is delicious, quite expensive wine. You can have different starters - big choice.
First time trying Israeli food. Was pleasantly surprised
Great food and Service but a bit too loud for my taste ;)
Very good food, nice atmosphere and good service!
Disgusting, overpriced, unfriendly ! Flafel was horrible !!!!!! Unrecommended !
I love the food, thank you.
Fantastic service, dishes and portions!
We went there before many times and was good, visited the place yday with a reservation, 20 min prior to my reservation and u get a very warm( irony intended) from the gentelman,at entrance, with an attitude - ur table is not free now. Think being successful and being humble is good, but with this attitutde in hospitality business i think its not good. Was loud warm and uncomfortable,on top we ordered lamb and chicken- both meats were raw and we need to send it back for regrilling so its eatable. After diner no apologies and no sorry and i was just thinking attitude at my arrival from this gentelman - is it logical. For me this place is not really on my priority.Sorry to say - its avoidable,in Düsseldorf u get similar food at lebenese places too.
Very delicous food / Reservation needed
Absolutely delicious, great service.
Absolutely delicious food, everything was perfect! Really nice staff as well!!
Good food with a very nice owner. I would definitely reserve before coming here. I can't talk about food price as I am from the US and things in the US are cheap. Service was fast and people were friendly. All in all I would come again.
Authentic Israeli food and vibe combined with friendly staff. The meze is as good as it gets. Hummus and falafel how they should be.
Nice food
